Leading German flat knitting machine builder Stoll has launched an exciting prototype flat knitting machine with direct yarn feed and motorised yarn feeders. The Reutlingen based company’s CMS 530 HP-ADF was unveiled at last week’s ITMA ASIA + CITME 2012 in Shanghai where it created a lot of interest and Stoll’s Director of R&D Michael Sedlag talked to Knitting Industry about the company’s latest high-tech flat knitting machine.

ITMA, the world’s most established textile and garment machinery exhibition, will put the spotlight on innovations that promote sustainability for its 17th presentation in Milan, Italy, in 2015. A trendsetting showcase of exciting innovations since 1951, the theme chosen for the 2015 edition is ‘Master the Art of Sustainable Innovation’.
Shanghai
The world’s leading manufacturer of socks and hosiery knitting machines Lonati, showed its latest innovations for Asian producers at last week’s ITMA ASIA + CITME 2012 in Shanghai. The Brescia headquartered company which produces around 8000 machines per year showed no fewer than 14 different machines many of which were either new or updated models.
